Bait Al-Hikmah Youth Program
Assalamu Alaikum Everyone. Alhamdulillah, the WMA team, led by Br. Azad Zaman, is pleased to have hosted the introductory session of our 30-week Bait Al-Hikmah youth program on Sunday the 12th of November at our Jamia Masjid in Hamilton.
This unique initiative combines STEAM education with enriching lessons in Islamic history and science, tailored for the youth aged 8-16. They'll gain foundational skills in basic engineering, coding, and other pivotal STEAM areas, alongside an exploration of Islamic contributions to science and insights from the Quran.
Dr. Mazharuddin Syed Ahmed, the head of the program, guided both parents and students through this session, providing a glimpse into the rich legacy of Islamic scientific innovation and the inspiring vision behind the Bait Al-Hikmah program. Alhamdulillah we had an amazing turnout and, Inshallah, eagerly anticipate the commencement of classes towards the end of January 2024.
